Canandaigua, N.Y. – A jury found a Batavia man guilty on all counts of rape and sexual assault.
Michael Lewis, 38, was originally charged with 335 counts of rape and child abuse – though the judge combined some of those charges to make it easier for the jury.
The jury found Lewis guilty of eight counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and 26 counts of Rape in the first, second and third degrees.
Though victims and Lewis took the stand and gave completely opposite stories, a juror told 13WHAM News the vote was unanimous from the start.
Lewis showed little emotion, until the verdict came out, when he put his head down and appeared to wipe his face with his hands.
Lewis could face 25-years-to-life on eight counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child alone. He is being held without bail until sentencing on June 26.
