(13WHAM) Albion, N.Y. - Hundreds of Second Amendment supporters rallied against the NY Safe Act Saturday.
Citizens, lawmakers, even radio talk show hosts gathered at the Orleans County courthouse.
New York Revolution, a group that formed after the gun law was passed in January, organized the rally.
Some protesters Saturday talked about their fear of the government regulating more rights and freedoms in the Constitution.
"It's a domino affect. You lose one, you lose them all," said Kacy Sherwood. "As a Christian, am I not going to be able to pray someday because they don't like that. Freedom of speech. Am I not going to be able to speak to my kids, teach them what I want to teach them because I don't have those freedoms anymore? Where does it stop? Where is the line?"
Some of the key provisions of the new gun law, including a limited number of rounds, will kick in on Monday.
