Canandaigua Police say that a body has been found inside a car that caught on fire.

It happened Thursday, when police and firefighters responded to a report of a car fire at the Woodlawn Cemetery on North Pearl Street.

After the fire was extinguished, human remains were found inside the car. At this time foul play is not suspected, but the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are working to positively identify the victim.
