Rochester N.Y.- Rochester police have arrested an Irondequoit man in connection with a fatal hit and run in the city Monday night.

Daniel Garver,22, charged for now with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

The victim, Harry Andrews,37, of Rocheseter, was standing next to a GMC SUV, putting gas in the vehicle when he was struck  in front of t 1044 North Goodman Street)Andrews was thrown forward into the road and he was taken to Rochester General Hosptial where he was pronounced dead

Police credit a red light camera in the vicinity with them being able to make this arrest.

Garver is being held on $5,000 dollars bail.
