The man convicted of raping and impregnating a comatose woman in a nursing home back in 1996 has been released from prison.
John Horace was discharged from the Franklin Correctional Facility Monday morning.
Horace was released after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
During his incarceration, Horace successfully completed several programs including Intensive Sex Offender Counseling and Aggression Replacement Training.
Horace will be supervised out of the Rochester Metro Office.
Horace's victim, a patient at the nursing home, had been in a coma for a decade after a car crash.
She gave birth to his child and then died a year later in 1997.
