Firefighters are called to a fire at a Penfield horse stable operation for the second time in a week. A fire on Monday destroyed a small barn, used as a feeding station for the horses at Huntington Meadow stables on Salt Road.

There were no horses in the structure at the time, and firefighters had it under control in about 10 minutes.

There was another fire at the same location last Thursday, when another barn on the property was also destroyed by fire. No one was hurt in that incident either.

The Webster Fire Chief does not believe the cause of the two fires is connected. Craig Akins  says it's believed last week's fire was accidental.

The cause of this week's fire is still under investigation.
