The Genesee County Sheriff's Department has released more information about a two-vehicle fatal crash. It happened Wednesday morning on Route 238 in the Town of Darien.

Deputies say a car driven by 25 year old Timothy Beszczynski of Darien collided head-on with an SUV driven by 59 year old Mary Dufour of Dale, NY. Beszczynski was pronounced dead at the scene. Dufour was taken to Erie County Medical Center with a broken leg and other injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
