Macedon Police say the driver of a car that got stuck on the railroad tracks Thursday night was ticketed for  failure to keep right.

Police say that 38 year old Daniel Drake of Fairport became disoriented and drove onto the tracks.

He and his passengers were able to get out of the vehicle just before it was struck.

There were no injuries to anyone in the car or on the train, but the crash tore the car into two pieces. The train was repaired and taken to Rochester and buses were used to help bring passengers to the city.
