A car that got stuck on train tracks in Macedon was struck by an Amtrak train on Thursday night.

The driver and passengers in the car were able to get out before it was hit by the train, and no one on the train was injured.

The crash did cause a delay for the more than 80 passengers on the train who were headed to Rochester.

Reportedly the driver of the car got disoriented before going off the road and onto the tracks.
