Rochester Police have identified the woman whose body was found at Tryon Park in Rochester earlier this week.
Police said she is 73 year-old Edline Chun of 226 Hazelwood Terrace in the city. Police said she was shot to death.
Chun's body was found at Tryon Park Wednesday afternoon by a Monroe County maintenance worker. They believe she was shot elsewhere, and then the body brought to the park.
Police said they have a person of interest in custody. There's no word yet of any formal charges.
Chief Jim Sheppard says robbery may have been the motive, but he says it appears Chun was targeted, and that it wasn't a random crime.
RIT confirmed the victim was an adjunct professor at the college.
