(13-WHAM) Five people were hurt in a two-car crash in Rochester Monday evening.

Rochester Police say  the driver of a sedan was trying to make a left turn onto Maplewood Avenue after 5:30 p.m., and crashed into a van near Lake Avenue.

Four people in the sedan, and the driver of the van were hurt and taken to the hospital. All five crash victims are expected to survive.

Roads in the area were closed for more than an hour.

No tickets were issued in the crash.
