Deputies said a man crashed his car early Sunday morning, just three hours after he was arrested on drunk driving charges.
Deputies arrested Jeffrey Russell Hamill, 34, of Attica for DWI and speeding after a traffic stop in Pembroke shortly after 1:30 a.m.
After he was released from jail, deputies said he drove his car off the road on Route 238 in Darien. His car went down a ravine, and hit a tree.
Hamill was not seriously hurt, but was flown by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital for a possible head injury.
Genesee County Sheriff's Office is investigating and more charges are pending.
