State Police have released some more information about a fatal accident that killed a worker for a disposal company. It happened Friday afternoon in the Town of Leicester.

Troopers say that a garbage truck was eastbound on Route 39 and 20A and pulled to the shoulder to unload an overloaded garbage toter from a driveway.  A second garbage truck pulled over to help.

One of the trucks was driven by 25 year old Timothy Gorton of Caledonia.  After he got out of his truck, police say he had left the truck in reverse and was pinned between the two trucks.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. Both trucks are owned by L-T Disposal of Caledonia.
