A local man is guilty of the home invasion and rape of a Rochester woman.
A Monroe County jury found 35 year old Ronell McFadden guilty of rape and criminal sex act in connection with a home invasion that happened on Ambrose Street in 2006.
The D-A's office says that McFadden forced his way into the woman's home where she and her baby were sleeping, and threatened them both with a knife before raping her.
The victim was not able to get a clear look at her attacker, but DNA evidence helped lead to McFadden's arrest.
McFadden will be sentenced in March. he faces up to 50 years in prison.
