The former owner of a local pizza shop has pled guilty to molesting a teenaged boy at a Henrietta hotel last year.
The Monroe County District Attorney's office says that Taha Alashwal struck up a relationship with the boy through his business and took him to a hotel with the intent of having the boy engage in sexual activity.
But authorities say the boy was able to fend off Alashwal's advances by stabbing him with a pen and running to the hotel lobby for help.
Alashwal will be sentenced in march on his conviction of criminal sexual act and he will get seven years in prison.
