Irondequoit Police have charged two people after a robbery at the Key Bank on East Ridge Road on Tuesday.

Police say tips from the public who saw the photo from the bank robbery helped lead them to the suspects.

23 year old Joseph Machado of Irondequoit is accused of passing a note to a teller demanding money. 25 year old Dominique Rotondi of Rochester allegedly drove the getaway car.

Officers say that a witness saw Machado running from the bank and into the waiting vehicle on a nearby side street.  Police eventually learned that both Machado and Rotondi were ata motel in Henrietta, and they were taken into custody.

Both Machado and Rotondi now face robbery and grand larceny charges.
