Rochester Police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday morning. It happened at a high rise apartment building at St. Paul and Andrews Streets.

Police say a 53 year old woman was found in a stairwell between the 18th and 19th floors. She was taken to Strong Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Officers say they are talking to persons of interest, but there's no word yet of any arrests
