Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that damaged a commerical building on E. Ridge Road in Irondequoit early Tueday morning.

Firefighters were alerted by an automatic alarm at a building that houses some doctors offices for Lifetime Health and also Planet Fitness.

When they got there, the found the flames contained to one of the doctor's offices , but there was some smoke and water damage throughout the building.

One issue that Ridge Culver Fire Chief Scott Zampatori says they had to deal with was a very slippery parking lot..

"That parking lot there was a sheet of ice as were the roads, that caused some problems for some of the equipment pulling in there, sliding a little bit, and a couple of guys had fallen, no injuries, we had the Town of Irondequoit come and drop some salt for us."

�@Because of smoke and water damage those offices and Planet Fitness will be closed Tuesday so they can be cleaned up.
