Security officers at the U of R say that a suspect has been arrested by Rochester Police in connection with the robbery of two grad students at their University Park apartment on January 20^th.

Authorities say a 22 year old Gates resident was taken into custody at his residence and charged with criminal possession of stolen  property. Officials say he is not associated with the university.

Rochester and Gates Police were helped by university officers. Officials say they did recover some stolen items and other evidence at the suspect’s residence.

Police are still looking for a second suspect. Additional security patrols remain in effect at the U of R campus.
