Two U of R students were robbed at gunpoint Sunday night at an off-campus housing complex. That according to U of R security which says it happened at about 7pm at University Park Apartments which is located near Kendrick Road, close to  the university’s river campus.

Officials say two suspects entered an apartment by the front door wearing all black clothing and ski masks. One of the suspects had a handgun, and ordered a student to gather personal electronics items and put them in a suitcase. The second student was told to lie on the floor.

There were no injuries. The students went to a nearby apartment and called 911. Rochester Police and University Police are investigating and security patrols in the area have been increased.
