High winds contributed to hundreds of people losing power on Sunday.

As of early Sunday afternoon, there were about 800 R G and E customers out in parts of Monroe, Wayne, Livingston and Ontario Counties. That number was over 2000 earlier in the day.

NYSEG reported several hundred customers without power in Wayne, Ontario, Livingston and Wyoming Counties.

National Grid reported several hundred customers without power in parts of Monroe, Livingston, Genesee, Orleans and Wyoming Counties.

Most customers were back on line by Sunday night.
