Brighton Police have arrested three Rochester man after a burglary that happened last Friday.

Police say a resident in the 2500 Elmwood Avenue saw a car he didn't recognize go into his neighbor's driveway, and then he saw the three men in the car break into the house.

Police say the three men took items from the home and tried to flee. A Brighton spotted the suspects and their car and tried to stop them. The car kept going, eventually getting stuck in traffic at Elmwood and South Avenue in Rochester.

The three men tried to run away but all three were found hiding and taken into custody without incident.

Charged with burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief are: 32 year old Jimmie Rutley, 24 year old Willis Knight and 27 year old Jerrod Braithwaite, all of Rochester.
