Chili, N.Y. -- An Army staff sergeant and Brockport native who died after being injured in Afghanistan was buried Saturday.

Staff Sergeant Nicholas Reid was serving overseas when he was injured by a roadside bomb. He was flown to an Army hospital in Germany, where he later died.

Reid was a 2004 graduate of Brockport High School. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Father's House in Chili.
