Calling hours continue Saturday for two Webster volunteer firefighters killed while responding to a call Monday.
Lieutenant Michael Chiapperini and firefighter Tomasz Kaczowka were allegedly shot by William Spengler of Webster when they responded to the report of a fire at his residence on Christmas Eve.
Hundreds turned out to pay their respects to Chiapperini and Kaczowka at Webster Schroeder High School on Friday. Calling hours continue at the high school Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., as well as from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services for Chiapperini will be held Sunday at Webster Schroeder at Noon. A spokesman for the West Webster fire department says there could be 2,000 or so people showing up at that time.
Services for Kaczowka will be held Monday, 10am at St. Stanislaus Church in Rochester.
