(13-WHAM)  Investigators were at the home of Adam Chase on Thursday night, a missing Stanley man.

Ontario County Sheriff Phil Povero says this is part of larger investigation into his disappearance.

Adam Chase, 32, walked away from his home in the town of Stanley on June 14th after arguing with his wife and hasn't been seen since.

On Thursday night, investigators focused on two scenes. At one unspecified location, deputies found what they believe to be human remains. Investigators have not determined if the remains belong to Adam Chase. Sheriff's deputies were also at Chase's home on Mott Road in Stanley.

Povero said the new searches came from new information in the case, but he did not disclose the source of that new information.

Adam Chase's wife was being questioned along with several people, but no one has been charged. Authorities expect to provide more details on Friday morning.
