The Greece School District is getting ready to sell off one of its buildings.

The  school board apparently has a potential buyer for the former Odyssey Academy building on Hoover Drive.

When the board meets on Tuesday, it will vote on a $2.4 million offer to buy that building. The offer reportedly comes from local businessman John Summers.

That building was closed last year when Odyssey Academy moved to the former Apollo Middle School building on Maiden Lane as part of a district-wide consolidation process.

The Greece district  listed the Hoover Drive building and two other former school buildings for sale earlier this year. This is the first purchase offer on any of the properties.
