A Steuben County man has been arrested by Ontario County deputies in connection with an investigation involving possession of child pornography

Deputies say that 20 year old Rion Lord was arrested at his residence in Wayland, on a charge of possession of child pornography.

The investigation began in late October, at the campus of FLCC, where a computer flash drive containing a large amount of child porn was left behind at a computer lab. The flash drive was turned over to campus safety, which then conacted the sheriff's department.

Investigators determined the drive belonged to a student, and they say that Rion Lord downloaded the images from a laptop he used at his house.

After getting word that Lord spoke to friends about fleeing the state to avoid charges, deputies got a warrant and found him at home.

He was ordered held pending another court appearance
