(WHAM News & 13-WHAM) Police think the suspect accused of robbing a bank in Irondequoit did it using a stolen car from Gates.
Irondequoit Police say 52 year old Kevin Wood is accused of stealing a car in Gates over weekend and then robbing the Reliant Credit Union on Titus Avenue around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
After receiving some information that the suspect might show up at the Marriott on West Ridge Road in Greece, authorities waited for him there.
Police say he attempted to flee, but ended up hitting two parked cars and a utility pole. The suspect was eventually arrested.
Police say he is charged with robbery, grand larceny and possession of a stolen car.
Wood is on parole for other crimes.
