(WHAM News AP)  Rochester Police broke up an armed robbery at a Rochester doughnut shop early Wednesday.

Police got a report around 2:40 a.m.  that a Dunkin' Donuts store on East Ridge Road was being robbed by several men.

Officials say one of the officers who arrived on the scene spotted the suspects before they could drive away in a vehicle parked on a street behind the store, which is open 24 hours.

Police say the suspects are in custody.

None of the employees inside the store were injured during the robbery.
