Geneva Police are investigating a report of a robbery and shooting on North Genesee Street Tuesday night.
A resident called police to report that he had heard a gunshot, and then saw a six-foot tall white man with a mustache at around 7:45 p.m. The resident said the man told him he was shot and robbed on the street, and then ran into a red Ford Taurus.
Police searched for two suspects, but did not find the victim, or either suspect. Police believe the victim was shot in the leg, and was dragging his leg when he got into the car.
At the time of the investigation, sporting events were being held at Geneva High School and North Street School. Both buildings were placed on lockdown during the search, which lasted until 9 p.m.
