An employee at a pie plant in Henrietta suffered a hand injury while making pies on Tuesday morning.

Monroe County Deputies say when the man reached into a device called a pie pan crimper, the machine crushed his right hand.

He was taken to Strong Hospital for treatment.

The incident happened at Satis Pie on Balta Drive in Henrietta. The federal agency OSHA is also investigating.
