A Rochester  man has pleaded guilty to robbing and kidnapping a woman in Irondequoit

51 year old Anthony Cannella pled guilty to felony charges of robbery and kidnapping in connection with the incident last august at St. Josephat Ukrainian Catholic Church on East Ridget Road. The victim is a woman who was a secretary at the church.

Authorities said that Cannella was accused of forcing the woman at knifepoint to drive him to several ATM machines where he used her debit card to withdraw cash.

The woman was later released in Rochester, unharmed.

Cannella is expected to be sentenced to 15 years in prison when he goes back to court in January.
