RGRTA is announcing the start of its RTS Holiday Express bus service. That involves hourly departures from downtown Rochester to three shopping centers: The Mall at Greece Ridge, Marketplace and the Walmart Supercenter on Hudson Avenue.

The rides are non-stop from Main Street and Clinton Avenue to the Greece Ridge and Marketplace malls. The ride from Main Street and St. Paul to Walmart picks up riders at four intersections, Cleveland Street/Clifford Avenue; Alphonse Street, Avenue E and Norton Street.

Fares are one dollar each way. The service runs from now through January 6th.
