State Police say a Buffalo man is facing a number of charges after a chase in Gates on Wednesday night.
They say just before 10pm, troopers tried to stop a driver on Lyell Avenue. Police say 40 year old Leonard Harrison gave them an invalid driver’s license and appeared to be drunk.
He then drove away onto Lyell Avenue. Eventually he struck another vehicle near 390. He got out of his car and ran but was taken into custody after a short foot chase.
Harrison faces charges that include felony DWI, reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing and resisting arrest.
