Ontario County Deputies have now arrested the husband of a woman already facing charges of stealing thousands of dollars from the Gorham-Middlesex Parent Teachers Organization.

Deputies have accused 43 year old Drew Brooks of Canandaigua with writing checks to himself from the PTO account when he did not have authorization to do so. The checks total just under $3,000.

He was charged with grand larceny and forgery and released pending another court appearance. Recently deputies also charged his wife, 44 year old Tracy Brooks with stealing money from that organization over the last several years.

She was the treasurer of the PTO and deputies say over $50,000 was taken from accounts that Brooks had access to.
