As officials with the National Toy Hall of Fame put it, this year's inductees into that Rochester-based museum come from a galaxy far, far away and from a time long, long ago.

The inductees announced on Thursday are Star Wars action figures and the centuries-old game of dominoes.

The honorees were selected from a field of 12 toy finalists including Clue, Fisher-Price Corn Popper push-toy, little green army men, Magic 8 Ball, Twister and the pogo stick.

So far 51 toys have made it into the National Toy Hall of Fame which is located at the Strong Museum.
