Ontario County authorities are trying to get the word out to a man who's been missing for several months to please contact his family.
The plea from the sheriff's department is going out to Adam Chase, a 32 year old man from the hamlet of Stanley, who was last seen in mid June.
Sheriff Phil Povero says Chase had left the home he shared with his wife and toddler son on June 14th after having an argument with his wife.
It's believed Chase returned to the house at some point several days later to pick up some personal belongings. Povero says some text messages from Chase's cell were received from the Canandaigua area on June 19th...
@"They came from around the city of Canandaigua area, the context of messages that we are aware of were from him indicating that he was alright and not to worry about him, that he was trying to work through these issues."
Povero says officials do not believe there was foul play involved, and they had no indication chase was suicidal. they just want him to contact his family and let them know he is ok.
