The Wegmans LPGA Championship will return to Locust Hill Country Club in Rochester next year.

That announcement came Tuesday after months of negotiations.

Proceeds from the event will benefit United Way's "Graduation is the Goal" fund.

Officials say this area will see a big impact next year on the economy, with both the LPGA and the PGA Championship being held here next year. The PGA Championship is being held at Oak Hill.
