A Wayne County man is dead after a motorcycle accident in Lyons.

Deputies say 55-year old Bruce Patnaude of Lyons was traveling on Maple Street Road early Sunday evening when he drove off the road while going around a sharp curve.

He was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
