State Police say that a Clifton Springs man has been charged with Grand Larceny, accused of diverting over 9-thousand dollars intended for his employer into his personal account.

Troopers arrested 22 year old Michael Cobb last Friday. Police say  that there were additional charges to company credit cards and other suspicious activity that may bring the total to well over 40-thousand dollars. Additional charges are pending grand jury action.

When Cobb was searched prior to being placed in the Wayne County Jail, police say they found an open package of a synthetic type of marijuana and a glass smoking pipe, and he faces a violation in connection with that as well.
