Deputies say a male RIT student crashed into a tractor trailer on Scottsville Rd. in Chili around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. 

The student driving the car crossed into oncoming traffic, the tractor trailer swerved to avoid him, but the car ended up striking the trailer portion of the truck, according to police. 

Deputies have not issued any tickets yet.

Authorities say the student was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
