(13WHAM)  Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester police will be patrolling a section near of the University or Rochester‘s River Campus beginning at 11 p.m.

A uniformed officer will patrol along the Genesee River from 11 at night until 3 in the morning for the rest of the fall semester.

Rochester police say it's a combined security effort.
