The Irondequoit Bay Outlet Bridge will temporary swing open Monday between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The barge was scheduled to leave the bay last Thursday, but was unable to do so because of unfavorable conditions on Lake Ontario.

As a result, the bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic on Monday starting at 9:00 a.m. and it's expected to be re-opened to traffic at about 4:00 p.m.

After that, the bridge remains open to vehicular traffic through April 1st of next year.
