Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks says the county's state of emergency is over after the storm, and the county has also deactivated the county operations center.
More than 2200 homes were told to evacuate along lakeshore communities on Monday night because of concerns about waves washing ashore from Lake Ontario. Brooks says all affected residents can return to their homes. There was not too much damage at the lakeshore.
Some roads in that area were still closed in the morning because of trees and power lines that were down.
