The Rochester Business Alliance is out with its annual Top 100 list, which consists of the fastest-growing, privately held companies.
Topping that list is 5Linx, a direct marketing firm based in Henrietta that specializes in the telecom industry.
In second place is Maris Design Systems, a Spencerport company that designs and builds special machines and equipment. The third palce company is Gorbel, a company in Fishers that manufactures cranes and other lifting devices.
Officials with the RBA say that the combined revenues of the top 100 companies are up 15 percent over last year, and employment is up around 4 percent.
The companies will be honored at a luncheon on November 1st.
