There are some changes in the management ranks at Kodak.

CEO Antonio Perez sent out a memo to employees indicating they are making changes to their organizational structure to better position the company as it tries to emerge from bankruptcy.

Kodak will now have three operating groups, the Consumer Group, led by Laura Quatela, the Digital Printing and Enterprise Group, led by Phil Faraci, and the Graphics, Entertainment and Commercial Films group, led by Brad Kruchten.

Perez says the new business model will ensure that he has a direct connection to senior leadership. The CEO says that he and other top company officials will work to simplify Kodak's organizational structure to produce a leaner model for the various businesses going forward.

Kodak has said it hopes to get out of Chapter 11 bankruptcy sometime next year.
