Over 400 Christian youths are coming to the Rochester area next week to participate in a camp that will be making repairs to dozens of homes that belong to senior citizens with low income and individuals with disabilities.
The group is called " Work Camp", and Jon Greenbaum, Community Builder at Action for a Better Community says that the youths are investing more than just their time by paying for the opportunity to serve the Rochester residents.
Greenbaum though is asking the Rochester community to extend a helping hand by allowing them to borrow their ladders.
The group needs ladders ranging from a six-foot step ladder to 28-foot extension ladders. The ladders can be dropped of at 917 East Main Street or picked up by calling or e-mailing Action for a Better Community using the information below.
Greenbaum is asking that the ladders be dropped off by this Saturday and that the ladders will also be dropped of at the end of the week.
To lend a ladder call 585-325-7550 or email: nroc@abcinfo.org
