Livingston County Deputies and Geneseo Police have arrested several people in connection with drug activity in Geneseo.

The Livingston County District Attorney's Office, State University Police and a Wyoming County Drug Task Force were also involved in the investigation.

Deputeis say the investigation began several months ago. They say while arresting 20 year old Andrew Field on marijuana sale and possession  charges, they discovered an indoor growing operation that included both pot and mushrooms.

Authorities also charged five others, including 20 year old Diana Yanoti, who lives in a SUNY Geneseo dorm; another resident of a Geneseo dorm, 19 year old Michael Pilosov; and three other Geneseo residents, 21 year old Zachary Markel, 21 year old Gerard Connolly and 20 year old Benjamin Shelton.

The charges all involve either sale or possession of marijuana.
