(13-WHAM) A Rochester soldier missing in action from the Korean War was identified in remains found in North Korea.

The Department of Defense said Friday that Army Cpl. Patrick Glennon's remains were among those handed over to a U.S. delegation in 2007.

Metal identification tags with Glennon's name along with DNA material helped the U.S. identify the remains.

Glennon was 18 years old when he went missing in the Korean War in 1950.

His nephew Bob Glennon told 13WHAM News that Patrick was an only child and his parents are deceased.

Patrick Glennon will be buried April 11 at Arlington National Cemetery.
