The Orleans County Sheriff's Department has charged a father and son with possession of stolen property after a half-buried truck was found on their company's property last week.
Deputies say the investigation began March 29th when they were contacted by Macedon police about a box truck that was stolen there, and police believed it might be in Monroe or Orleans County.
State Police conducted a search with their helicopter and the truck was spotted on property in the town of Murray. That is where a business called Country Construction is located on the Monroe-Orleans County Line Road.
An Orleans County investigator noriced that the truck was in a remote area of the property and someone driving a bulldozer was in the process of burying the truck in an effort to conceal it.
Using a search warrant, deputies say they found stolen construction vehicles and other equpment worth more than 120-thousand dollars.
They have charged 68 year old David Paul of Brockport and 39 year old Jeffrey Paul of Holley with felony counts of possession of stolen property
